Born and raised on the West Coast, Dr. Tara Lantz, ND has deep roots and family ties to the Nova Scotia and she is happy to be practicing in the province since 2013 after 2 years of practice in downtown Vancouver.

Dr. Lantz’s naturopathic practice focuses on a functional medicine approach to wellness by investigating and addressing the root cause of health concerns, while incorporating lifestyle changes and integrative, holistic therapies to provide a framework for health and disease prevention. Clinically, she provides preventative medicine through a thorough blood work evaluation, while working to balance sleep, energy levels, stress response, and diet. She loves extending her area of care into education, counselling, and coaching.

Dr. Lantz’s expertise and clinical focus includes mental health, anxiety, stress, burnout; digestive & hormonal health; insomnia; blood work optimization, optimal aging/preventative medicine, and hands on bodywork for chronic pain conditions, including fibromyalgia, headaches, arthritis and musculoskeletal health concerns.

Her approach incorporates clinical diagnosis and blood work/lab testing with holistic & integrative approaches to provide medicine that treats the entire person, not just symptoms.

Dr. Lantz believes healthcare doesn't need to be confined to a clinical space and loves giving group talks and collaborating in community and corporate wellness.

Dr. Lantz aims to work collaboratively with other medical professionals to bridge the gap between standard medical care and complementary medicine to help restore lasting health for her patients.
